ANNUAL REPORT 2019-2020

“Reach high for stars lie hidden in your soul

Dream deep, for every dream leads the goal”

We delight in the beauty of the butterfly but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty. It is the changes that we all go through our lives that constantly improves us.

Yes, portraying this thought, I would like to wish you all a very pleasant evening. In this auspicious day, I am greatly elated to present in front of you the upward graph that is the Annual Report of 2019 - 2020.

Honorable Chief Guest of the day Dr. G. Padmapriya, an Advocate by profession and a recipient of many awards for her active social in-service, distinguished dignitaries on the dais, Principals from the sister schools under our management, members of the Advisory Committee, PTA Council and dear parents, I feel immense pleasure in presenting before you the achievements our school accomplished in the academic year 2019-20.

As you all know that our school was founded in the year 2007 with a meager strength and now after thirteen years of noble service, the school has strength of 2000 students and close to 100 teachers.

We believe that every individual has a lot of potential and that potential can help accomplish wonders if directed toward s the right track.

Vision determines directions of effort and prioritizing deployment of resources at our disposal and our vision “Learn to Lead" has made our school one of the best schools of our country by providing 360 degree education to our students through best in class academic facilities and churn out citizens who are inspiring leaders with a humane touch.

Before I could carry on with other achievements, I wish to start with the mighty victory God showered on us this year. Beryl Zionah of IX C and Thanushri of VIII D won the quiz competition conducted by Dinamalar's student edition ' Pattam' in the first week of February 2020 and had added another feather to Zion's cap. They are going to visit NASA at America this May month.

This has made Zion fly high in the sky as the entire state of Tamil Nadu was talking on this as our children broke many stereotypes to claim the title.

Even now, I could picturise the scene that I witnessed; how energetic and with full of enthusiasm, the students answered. They had the spark to answer questions immediately before the quiz master completed the question

The competition had four rounds and altogether 152 schools participated in it. In the final buzzer round, out of ten questions raised, our students did not allow any other school to press the buzzer and topped the list. A nerve wrecking moment it was for us. I felt that the students have been given credit for the toil and efforts put in by them as they missed this chance last year narrowly and stood second place but this year their untiring efforts have given them a mammoth victory. This has taken place because of our Chairman’s encouragement he rendered last year. He has asked them to persevere till they reach the zenith.

I congratulate the teacher in-charge for guiding them as per Chairman’s instruction on the right track to harness victory to Zion family. With this I would like to bring in front of you the other achievements we accomplished this academic year.
